When Our Hearts Break Open

In Atlas of the Heart, Brene Brown maps the geography of our heartfelt human experiences, both those that lift us up and the ones that weigh us down. Staying tender and vulnerable, even in the face of pain and fear, allows our hearts to bend instead of break. As we culminate the week of Pride celebrations here in C-U, amidst ongoing attacks against so many vulnerable people, including our queer neighbors, this service acknowledges our pain and invites us to honor the beauty in our relationships.
